VoxGuard answers calls from numbers you don't know before your phone ever rings. The caller is asked to repeat a short spoken phrase, then to say who they are and why they're calling. That recording and transcript arrive as a notification, and the call only comes through if you approve it. Saved contacts always ring straight through.

There is no spam-number database involved: every unknown caller takes the same live challenge, so brand-new and spoofed numbers get screened just like known offenders. It works on any Android phone on any carrier, including phones without a native screening feature. As of June 2026, 87% of unknown callers on the VoxGuard network never made it past the keyphrase challenge.
