VoyaLang is a web app for practicing IELTS Writing, for both IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training.

A student pastes in an Academic Task 1 chart report, a General Training letter, or a Task 2 essay. About 30 to 45 seconds later, it comes back with a band score on each of the four official criteria (Task Achievement or Task Response, Coherence and Cohesion, Lexical Resource, and Grammatical Range and Accuracy), line-by-line corrections with a reason for each one, and the same answer rewritten at the student's target band.

Around the checker sits a full practice app. The topic library holds 1,400+ exam-style questions, including all seven Academic Task 1 chart types and all five Task 2 question types. An optional timer helps with exam pace. Every answer stays in the student's history, with progress charts for each criterion and a list of the mistakes they repeat most. A separate assistant fixes grammar and spelling in any English text, or rewrites a message in a new tone.

Teachers can run a class with it: set a writing task, see every essay arrive already scored and corrected, and give the final grade themselves. Students agree to what their teacher can see before they join.

A free account grades up to 10 essays, with no card. The teacher tools are free too.

VoyaLang is built and hosted in Germany and is GDPR-compliant. Users can export their writing history as a PDF and delete their account themselves.
