After posting speeds I realized that my happiness with this app / service was impeded due to not too stable connection; and I realized that after starting using torrenting again. Downloads weren't finished or I get notifications of no connection. Long story short, OpenVPN was the more stable and speedy, whereas IKEv2 had max speed, but unstable.
Short story long, I looked into the workings of the app again and noticed that much of instability came from IKEv2 protocol. Of course I would use it, because that's where I get the max speed, but breakdowns to a point where the app were clogging internet and needed to be forcefully shutdown or troubleshooted I've noticed that for the troubleshoot it needed to switch to Chameleon. This gave me the idea that IKEv2 might not be the only option.
Thus, I have VyprVPN as a OpenVPN protocol service with 2/3 the speed. Sure I got it cheap, and I could work out a balance to have some peace of mind. From time to time I will "risk" it and switch to IKEv2 for a short period of time to get something quicker, but in the long run, no.
And compared between Mac and Win OS, both have the same issue while exhibiting different behavior as if two patients having same sickness and showing different symptoms. Windows would for example have a massive delay to all things internet related, forget about browsing the internet. On Mac while connected I had no apparent connection until switched to another protocol or tried reconnecting (but that could also have been a "bad" server).
Some people have commented about logs, even some commending them for their "honesty" as if it constitutes trustworthiness. Question, if you acknowledge VPNs barely do crap for your privacy (100% true) then what is the purpose again? Almost seems using a VPN would have the opposite of the desired effect. Seems like it would be an easy way to flag users who were most likely candidates on the internet to be partaking in crime. That would be a 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘆 situation to fall in, wouldn't it? If you willingly placed yourself into the spotlight when you were ironically trying to cover your tracks? 🤷♂️ Im just saying, some things are not as they seem, the viper is a deadly snake, which can leave you paralyzed. Trapped, in other words, akin to, idk, jail? If i were to guess? Before I paid a VPN provider on the open market, and certainly before i trust them to hide my IP address (which by design isn't possible) I might educate myself a little. Who were the founders of Golden Frog? What's their backstory? What other ventures have they been in or are currently in? Explore those ventures as well. Do some simple searches in a secure search engine, use the brains your mother gave you. You might find yourself grateful you packed eggs in multiple baskets, cause sometimes baskets fall. And sometimes the paranoid guy in the comment section, turns out not to be soo crazy. For your consideration.

I use vypr to improve my Netflix streaming and to access the BBC iPlayer. Both work like a charm. Like one of the other reviewers here said, it's very fast for a vpn service. I noticed the previous comment mentions logging. When I signed up with vypr I read their VPN myths section on their website. It pretty much confirms what I thought in that nobody is anonymous online. It's refreshing to see a vpn company come clean about what the service can and can't do. I've noticed a few of the other big providers have stopped promoting themselves as anonymous now.
