What is webcam surveyor?

Webcam Surveyor is a webcam recorder for Windows with continuous recording, motion detection, and Stealth Mode. It saves video directly to your computer and supports compatible webcams and video capture devices.

Hidden webcam recording Stealth Mode lets you use the application as a hidden webcam recorder on computers and cameras you own or manage. Selected recording tasks continue while the application window is hidden. Restore the window with a configurable keyboard shortcut and protect access with an optional restore password.

Long-term webcam recording Record extended sessions and split video into smaller files for easier playback, archiving, and storage management. Configure video quality, output folders, and recording intervals to suit your setup. Automatic startup and scheduling help manage unattended sessions.

Webcam motion detection Capture activity when movement occurs instead of recording continuously. Adjust detection sensitivity and monitoring areas, use a pre-recording buffer to include video before a trigger, and configure email or Discord notifications. Additional features include Telegram bot remote control, command-line automation, multiple camera instances, date and time overlays, network broadcasting, and time-lapse capture.

Webcam Surveyor is paid software with a free trial and one-time licensing. Recordings are stored locally, with no cloud storage subscription required.
