Weedout is a Safari extension that silently filters AI-labeled videos out of YouTube. No blocking screens, no drama — the weeds are simply gone.
WHAT IT DOES • Removes AI-labeled videos from your home feed, search results, related sidebar, channel pages, playlists and Shorts shelves • Auto-skips AI-labeled Shorts in the Shorts player (optional) • Dim mode: instead of removing, fade the weeds and tag them "AI" — see exactly what would be filtered before you trust it • Counts the weeds it pulls, so you can see how bad it's gotten out there
HOW IT WORKS Weedout checks each video against YouTube's own "Made with AI" disclosure — the same label YouTube shows under a video's title. Verdicts are cached on your Mac, so each video is checked once, using less data than loading a single thumbnail.

HONEST LIMITS Weedout filters videos that carry YouTube's AI label (creator-disclosed or YouTube-applied). AI content that isn't labeled has nothing for Weedout to detect — yet. When YouTube labels more, Weedout catches more.
