Comments and Reviews
Love the visualizations and the GUI and how easily you can select a bunch of files to add to playlist.

Minuses: 1) the MKV file format is not supported - the audio track does not work;
lack of memorization of the pause time during the previous viewing of the videography (VLC and Cyberlink PowerDVD have this technology);
poor work with large files, movies weighing 30/40/50 gigabytes may not display correctly (the image lags significantly behind the sound, or the image freezes and only the sound goes on, or the image goes along with the sound, but it is distorted by stripes/pixilationation) or freezes in 50% of cases;
absence of a miniature, frame-by-frame preview window (like Light Alloy) when moving along the Timeline;
lack of technology to improve image detail and enhance clarity (as in PowerDVD);
lack of percentages (%) and the time of the viewed file, as well as the time until the end of the videography;
lack of a miniature menu located on the Taskbar;
a small number of settings - good for beginners, bad for experienced users and professionals.
it slows down very much ... I wait 25-30 seconds for it to open some song while aimp works 5 times faster
Lack of codec support (such as .mkv) and cause High Resource Usage
An extremely versatile and reliable media player. It is probably one of the most complex pieces of software that came out of Windows Vista and Windows 7: there are very few media players that can match WMP's complexity and features.
However, it is not favorable for those who prefer a minimalistic interface. Moreover, WMP only comes with a limited set of codecs: one would usually need to pair this up with K-Lite Codec Pack to make WMP any useful.

It can't read like lots of codecs (.mkv above all)
Seems like its always forced on me and its annoying. The interface has been the same since i can remember. They need to make this simpler and redesign.
