What is Wordfast?

Wordfast is a computer-assisted translation tool developed by Wordfast LLC enabling the use of translation memory. There are two different versions of Wordfast product. The original Wordfast product(which was developed in 1999 by Yves Champollion and is now known as Wordfast Classic) is an add-on for Microsoft Word. Wordfast Pro is a stand-alone multiplatform translation memory tool available for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. Also, there is a free web-based version of Wordfast called Wordfast Anywhere.
