What is X2Chat?

X2Chat is a secure messenger where your account is a cryptographic key created on your device: no phone number, no email, no password. Messages, files, voice and video calls are end-to-end encrypted (AES-256-GCM, keys wrapped per device with RSA-2048, calls via WebRTC Insertable Streams and a QUIC/Opus transport). Contacts can be verified in person by QR code. Works on Android, iPhone, iPad and Mac with one account on all devices; includes bots (Telegram-compatible Bot API) and mini-apps inside the messenger. Free, no ads. The security model, including known limitations, is described at x2chat.com/security.
