ZasCue is a free cue player for theatre, dance, recitals and school shows, built for Windows because QLab only runs on macOS.
You build your show as an ordered list of cues and fire them one by one with the spacebar. Audio cues have per-cue effects (EQ, filter, compressor, delay, reverb), fades, crossfades and volume automation. It also projects images and titles to a second screen, has control cues that start or stop other cues, a soundboard for one-shot effects, keyboard hotkeys and MIDI triggering.
If you're coming from a Mac, it imports your QLab 4 project files (.qlab4), so you don't have to rebuild your shows from scratch.
It runs as a single portable .exe with no installer, or directly in your browser on any OS. No account, no ads, works offline. Interface in English and Spanish.
What it doesn't do: no video playback, and no lighting/DMX control.
