What is Zero Slop?

Zero Slop is a free, MIT-licensed Agent Skill for editing AI-shaped prose. Its local scorer flags stock phrases, repetition, sentence patterns and formatting. Your existing AI assistant reads the context and rewrites the draft; local checks compare tracked names, numbers, quotes and links against the original.

Use it for emails, documentation, blog posts, professional writing and research prose. Inspect the findings without rewriting, review before-and-after edits, or use the CLI in a documentation workflow. A browser editor, remote MCP endpoint and REST API provide optional hosted editing under shared free usage limits. Hosted editing sends the draft to the service; offline scoring does not.

The writing score is a heuristic, not an AI-authorship detector. Passing source-detail checks is not proof of factual truth or unchanged meaning. Review the final edit in context.
