What is AIQuotaBar?

AIQuotaBar is a lightweight macOS menu bar app that shows live Claude.ai and ChatGPT usage limits as a color-coded indicator (🟢 green / 🟡 yellow / 🔴 red with percentage).

Stop getting blindsided by AI rate limits mid-session. AIQuotaBar sits in your menu bar and shows:

  • Claude current session usage (5-hour limit)
  • Claude weekly all-models and Sonnet-only limits
  • ChatGPT usage alongside Claude in the same menu
  • macOS notifications at 80% and 95%

Zero setup: reads your existing browser session cookies locally from Chrome, Arc, Brave, Edge, Firefox, or Safari. No API keys, no browser extension, no accounts needed. The only network requests go to claude.ai and chatgpt.com directly.
