Looks like it was more of a search engine during my previous review. AI answers in 2 tiers. The first display is a very brief and not always well-targeted snippet or link. You press a button to get more depth.

Aug 2026 By default, Andi AI looks kitsche with icons, non-intuitive in response, and ad-filled. I don't see the 2-tiers anymore. Seems to me that the quality of many AIs has been going downhill lately.

Pros: Andi gets pretty good search results. It's useful. I live in a non-English speaking country and my language search works well.

Cons: There seems to be no hourly search. ui is too messy. In particular, it is impossible to select ui on a mobile.

I'm not sure if Andi is open source... can't find the source anywhere... Even asked Andi for it but it didn't know!

AI deep answers are even better than Google quick/instant answers and help me find the right info fast.
