What is Babelarc?
Babelarc is a Windows desktop app that gives gamers real-time multimodal translation across both text and voice. It bundles four tools:
• Chat-Box Translate — frame a chat box, press a hotkey, and a translated overlay appears beside your game; type in the reply box to send your message back in their language. • Flash Translate — drag a rectangle over any on-screen text (game UI, item tooltips, visual-novel dialogue, browser dialogs) and the translation lands right where you framed it. • Live Interpret — pick an app playing foreign-language audio and Babelarc speaks the translation in your language a moment later, with live subtitles. Built for foreign streams, VTuber broadcasts, and voice-chatting teammates. • Cross-Language Mic — you speak your own language and teammates hear an AI-spoken translation in theirs, routed through a virtual microphone so any Windows-mic-aware app works (Discord, TeamSpeak, Steam voice, in-game voice chat).
Source language is auto-detected; the target language is anything you can type — no fixed list. Translation runs in the cloud, so the client stays small and portable: copy the folder anywhere, run the .exe, no installer.
Babelarc's text tools use screen-capture only and its voice tools read system audio — no game-memory reads, no API hooks, no process injection. Free to sign up with a one-time energy bonus; monthly subscription plans for heavier use.
