A NO LOGIN needed version would be useful
I've been using Beeper on Linux for a few months now and it's been pretty solid.
Positives:
- 6 accounts available to use in the free version (10 for Premium and those can be multiple connections to the same protocol)
- Can connect to 10 or so of the biggest chat protocols making it a useful animal.
- It's one of the very few that integrates with Signal, a big selling point for me.
- So far I haven't needed any of the Premium bells and whistles, and the nagging for that is reasonably...

I've scored based on my needs rather than the above comparison, presented more for information than analysis. It's doing the job I need and doing it well. If it fits your use case then it's worth a try.
Unlike Ferdium or Franz - Beeper is unable to provide access to multiple accounts of the same platform.
For example, in many countries, it's normal to have multiple WhatsApp accounts; usually to separate clients / family / other business / etc
Beeper can only provide access to a single WhatsApp account.
Totally useless in this case.

It keeps records, needs my email. Not my type of app.
Accessing multiple social/chat services in one clean interface. Very easy to use. It allows me to use Signal on my Android tablet.
