Overall a decent tool available freely and open source.
Works well with Linux (Manual configuration might be required when installing).
Look I get it, FOSS does not mean free. I don't have a problem with becoming freemium, but when a service that is based on chromium takes something that is available on every Chromium browser, like extensions and paywalls it, that is BS and I will not recommend that app and instead recommend alternatives. Too bad, was solid at one time.

I couldn't sing in into my gmail account, maybe because of the user agent, which doesn't seem to be configurable :(
It isn't Open Source Since Version 2.0
Spend with this app a few years and it's getting more sluggish with each update. Switched today to Station app and it works way better and faster than rambox. Reason to search for something else was that my rambox gmail stopped working. Tried to search for solutions etc. with no effect. Luckily for me Station app has everything i used in rambox.
Have been using it for about a year now on one of my systems and I think it needs a lot of improvement.
The password implementation is not as great as it could be. It only asks for it once, and for your account to be secure, you need to close the app.
Telegram works but the interface is worse than what it is in a browser
Whatsapp updates are not applied as smoothly as they should be.
The app has a problem with erratic behaviour. The close, minimise buttons on the top right corner frequently disappear
If you are using a multi-monitor set-up, moving the app from one monitor to another is impossible, when it decides to act-up!
