Better Window Switcher shows every window open on your Mac as a real 3D card.
Press the shortcut and they fly out into a scene you orbit with the trackpad.
Pick the one you meant and let go.
There are seven arrangements: Cover Arc, Carousel, Ring, Flip 3D, Panorama, Grid and 2D Row. You can change between them while the switcher is open, and the scene morphs into the new shape rather than redrawing.
Browser tabs are windows too. Every tab in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Brave, Edge, Vivaldi and Opera gets a card of its own wearing the icon of the site it is on, and tabs stack into one pile per window, so a browser with twenty of them stays readable. Finder and Terminal tabs work the same way.
Press space and type to search. It matches the app name, the window title and the website behind a tab, and it forgives typos, so typing "giggle docs" still finds every Google Docs tab you have open.
It reaches everything: windows on other desktops, minimized windows, hidden apps, and full screen windows. A quick tap of the shortcut flips straight back to your last window without drawing anything on screen at all.
No account and no subscription. The app carries no analytics, and it captures your screen only while the switcher is open, never in the background.
Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later on Apple Silicon. Seven day trial, no account and no card needed.
