What is Bulbul?

Bulbul is a free, open-source voice dictation app for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android. Hold a hotkey (or tap the bubble on your phone), speak, and cleaned-up text appears in whatever app you're using — editor, browser, chat, terminal. It transcribes with Whisper on Groq and runs a cleanup pass that strips filler and fixes punctuation. No subscription and no account: you bring your own Groq API key, and your history, dictionary, and snippets stay in a local file on your device.
