From the look and feel very similar to OrganicMaps. All private, all offline, no ads, open source. Both are great and quite interoperable still (e.g. exporting and importing bookmarks works seamlessly).

I like CoMaps and it's community-driven approach, and for data privacy. Full transparency on how the app is developed.

I appreciate the extra features on CoMaps. so i can contribute for Openstreetmap while this can be used for navigation.
Best foss maps app there is!
Much better than OM and Maps.Me. The Map Color change is very good IMO!
Navigation can sometimes be a bit glitchy, but at least they are working on it :)
It's essentially Organic Maps with worse colors, making it harder to see roads and trails.
I often go hiking and use CoMaps to get to the right route. I used OrganicMaps for a long time, but after I heard that there are some transparency problems, I switched to CoMaps. The map looks great and the navigation is also very accurate. I really like to use CoMaps and can recommend it!
