Stenzek, the lead dev, has made this emulator no longer Open Source, but "Source available," he changed the licensing making it impossible to fork or modify this emulator. He's also livid against plugins, meaning that this emulator cannot be used for anything but exclusively playing video games. Emulators, for those who don't knows, are also used for decompilation projects, and ePSXe was used by the Toys For Bob developers to basically recover the source for the spyro games. Stenzek goes against all of it. Avoid this schizo at all costs.
Solid emulator for a fun console. Seems to run better than alternatives, and even has a mobile version.
