Careful - don't use this for PDF files as it only "marks" the metadata as deleted, without actually removing it permanently. (this is a limitation of the underlying Exiftool)

This is what's being said on its official github page under the "File writer limitations" section: for PDF, "The original metadata is never actually removed."

Simple drag and drop exif cleaner.

But it's pretty limited. Exiftool is not very hard to figure out (and there are third party GUI). And Exiftool has a lot more functionality.

The only simple GUI exif-cleaner on Windows. Not updated since 2021, seems abandoned.

Straightforward application.

Drag the photos into GUI window, it will show how much metadata you have and will then automatically delete it, so be careful.

Exifcleaner has been an extremely useful and valuable tool for me over the last year. Since I discovered it, it has become an essential part of my workflow when it comes to sharing or downloading files online, as a focus of maintaining some of my privacy.

The ability to remove sensitive metadata from files, with the assurance that the quality and integrity of the files remain unchanged after cleaning, is sensational!

Also, Exifcleaner's interface is simple and easy to use. Just drag and drop the files into the application window, and it will quickly do what it sets out to do (with a good speed of execution)
