One of those "does one thing really well" apps, and using it is incredibly simple: Share the photo to Scrambled Exif, and then it'll ask you what app you want to share the cleaned up version to.

Note that it removes all metadata, even timestamps.

This app protects your privacy by removing exif metadata before sharing. It is possible to check whether metadata has been removed or not by previously saving the file to the cloud or in local folder.

  1. Pick the picture to be processed, and tap on share icon.
  2. Select Scrambled Exif from the app list.
  3. Select cloud destination (Google Drive, OneDrive) or select file manager (Total Commander) to save it locally. Pick destination folder.

What is Scrambled Exif?

Scrambled Exif (pronounced eggsif) helps you remove the metadata in your pictures before you share them.

If you don't want the big Internet companies (or whomever) to know were your pictures were taken don't forget to remove the metadata from them before you share them.

To remove the metadata from a picture, simply share it like you'd normally do and choose Scrambled Exif. A moment later, the share 'dialog' will reappear. Now just share with the app you intended to share with in the first place. Et voilà!
