The game itself is very good. Fun and unique. Dialogue is great, gameplay is smooth and comfortable. The game does suffer from being fairly short, but that's good for someone who doesn't want to spend days completing a game.
One thing that I have a hard time understanding is free for one platform and pay for another. The only reasoning I can see behind this is to get people to switch platforms. And, unless I misunderstand the licensing, it would be simple for an Apple owner to download the source and compile it for their system and redistribute it.
well... the "free" in "free software" don't mean free of charge, but rather means freedom ( see the four essential freedoms of free software ). If apple decides that their trouble of providing you a copy is worth $ 9.99, then they may charge that. A dick move for sure, but what can you do?
