Sadly, this is THE ONLY software in existence with somewhat intuitive UI, that can render animated SMIL SVGs. After merging with KDE the performance became abysmal on both Windows and Linux (tested on Mint). Slideshow-like. Playback is impossible. On Mint it is also crashing often.

Comments and Reviews
The proposal is really good, but the construction of the software, as well as the optimization, are HORRIBLE! It was one of the worst experiences with animation software. The interface in addition to being UGLY, also behaves completely disproportionately and the saving of configuration settings are not saved correctly.

I've tried the following installer .appImage, .deb, and Windows.zip
None worked :/ Too bad description is appealing..
I've tried to reach the developer, but the website use to much of crap. gxxgle api, jsdelivery etc etc.. so the menu button are inoperant for me...
Too bad there is no, open "forum" style to discuss about the project.
If the author read this, a lemmy community take few second to create.
Cheers
It is not that simple. I got introduced to it through the latest version of ShotCut video editor. The ShotCut has now integrated it and it will let you see the ShotCut video timeline contents inside its UI where you can use Glaxnimate features and later you can edit these in the same way.

I believe, it is still in development and would reach a very good level in the world of Animations and Vectors graphics...
Glaxnimate actually works awesomely well with telegram stickers and lottie. It is very good for editing vector graphics overall and at this point in active developement. It is even open source, so if anyone wants to add features, they can be free to do so.
