What is HarnessRouter?

HarnessRouter is the world's first unified interface for agent harnesses. Your product sends a task through one HTTP API; HarnessRouter runs the agent harness (Codex, Claude Code, or Hermes) in an isolated sandboxed session and streams progress, files, and reviewable artifacts back to your UI. Switching harnesses is a request parameter instead of a migration, so teams can compare harness and model configurations on the same task and route each workload to whichever setup wins on measured cost, quality, and latency. Building and integrating is free; credits are only consumed when tasks run. HarnessRouter implements and complies with the Unified Harness Protocol (UHP), an open standard specified at unifiedharnessprotocol.org. The HarnessRouter Community Edition is open source under Apache-2.0 (github.com/HarnessRouter/harnessrouter) and can be self-hosted on your own infrastructure.
