Font ligature support right at the terminal level so Vim and other terminal apps can use them. Plus, no window bloat to detract from work but it's still customizable via config file (Ctrl-Shift-F2).

It's honestly difficult to write a detailed review of kitty, as I have not experienced a single issue with it. Performance is great, the graphics protocol is well-supported, and customization is easy. I've been using it as my default terminal emulator for months, and I don't foresee this changing.
I have been using it on multiple different devices. On my mac and my linux desktop. It is really performant. A nice default gui too and the default keybinds are really good too. Also has a emoji picker.
By far the best terminal emulator I've used. Beautiful, all while remaining quick and snappy.
Performant, simple, all keyboard based. The only thing I miss is the support out of the box on remote servers.
