For my work I use a lot the command line and specially Bash. From time to time, I have to use Windows, and I've been often lost by using PuTTY or even SSH over PowerShell. I just found Tabby which I'm able to install on my Linux, Mac and Windows and simply sync my configuration files with Syncthing then the magic happen!! :)
Tabby is a resource hogging terminal that does nothing different in comparison to other terminals that provide the same function. Sure, it looks prettier than most terminals, but, I prefer performance to looks.
Good alternative for Terminal and PuTTY.
It's a really beautiful terminal with a LOT of features. BUT, like with many/most "modern" things: It's beautiful, yes. But also a slow ressource-hog. Even scrolling through the settings is done with what feels like 30fps at best. In a GUI in 202x?
Don't get me wrong, it's really great. And a lot of work and love went into this. If you just don't care for that sluggish-y feeling and the extra waste on ressources. For a terminal-app, which is kinda the epitome of efficiency :)
beautiful, powerful, and custamizable
This is a really nice terminal host! I really like how easy it is to open up different terminal types in other tabs.
It does tend to act a little bit slow, but it still works well nonetheless.
