Loved the integrated code formatter (it's using Prettify). A snippet can have multiple languages (called "fragments"). Support for tags. Uncluttered interface.

What is massCode?

massCode is a free, open-source desktop workspace for developers, available for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Originally a code snippet manager, it now brings reusable code, technical notes, API requests, calculations, and drawings together in one app.

Organize snippets with nested folders, tags, and multiple fragments. Use syntax highlighting, integrated Prettier formatting, HTML and CSS previews, and a JSON visualizer.

Write Markdown notes with live preview, internal links, Mermaid diagrams, mind maps, and presentation mode. Snippets and notes are stored locally in a Markdown vault that you control.

The built-in HTTP client supports HTTP and GraphQL requests, WebSocket messages, collections, environments, response assertions, and JavaScript tests. Import API collections from OpenAPI, Postman, and Bruno.

A math notebook handles calculations and unit conversions, while an Excalidraw-powered drawing space supports diagrams and wireframes. Developer utilities include JSON Diff, encoders, converters, and generators.

massCode works without an account and provides offline access to local snippets and notes. It is released under the AGPL-3.0 license.
