Focused on open source models. Chat is free and unlimited, including flagship models (Large 2), so I think it can be labeled “free for personal use”.

I tried Mistral AI, but honestly it was one of the weakest AI tools I have used. The answers often felt less accurate, less helpful, and not as polished as other AI assistants. For serious work, I would rather use Claude or Gemini because they give better explanations and more reliable results. Mistral AI may improve in the future, but right now it is not my first choice.

I like using Mistral's AI models over ChatGPT for my generative AI needs. The models are open source, the text generation fits my needs, and it's made by the French. What else can you ask for?
