ModernMT

ModernMT is an Italian machine translation service that uses context-aware Neural Machine Translation technology based on the Fairseq Transformer model. It consolidates all data into one folder for training and delivers high-quality translations by receiving a sentence and some context text. The service utilizes a human-in-the-loop approach for improved translation quality and efficiency.

ModernMT supports 200 language pairs and up to 40,000 language combinations. It has a simple API with libraries in Java, Python, Node.js, and offers engineering support. The service guarantees a translation speed of 50,000 characters per second, a monthly uptime of 99.9%, and a monthly latency of 2 seconds. It is GDPR compliant, ISO 27001 certified, and provides PII anonymization and IP protection. ModernMT can handle HTML, XLIFF, and plain text, and integrates with Matecat filters support and 71 other file formats. It uses 100,000 words of context for document-level translation.
