Comments and Reviews
Simple and sufficient. The appearance is boring.
On the download page there are political opinions. [Edited by dany111, June 13]
Political expression should be free, and it is meaningless to give negative criticism based on this point.
@YuziChan8, If the developer's love for cats, Johnny Depp, non-traditional sex, baptism, ecology, alternative history and photographs of children is posted in an issue tracker and other resources that exist solely for the development and discussion of a specific software application, this is worthy of condemnation. Politics is no exception.
Simple and ugly. Very nice.
lightweight, all features included not heavily connected to multiple extensions
Notepad++ is my go-to tool for both coding and general text work. I’m probably way too old school. I’ve tried other code editors several times - e,g, the much praised Visual Studio Code - but I always came back to Notepad++. I’ve been using it for 20 years. There are also plenty of plugins, but to be honest, I don’t use any of them.
One of the only Windows-exclusive applications that is actually good.
This is my go to text editor, I have been using it for many years. What I like - Tons of features, Customizable. The spellcheck plugin also works great.
