The UI/UX is confusing and not the greatest. It is very difficult to find what you want to do.

Basically it uses your local device, so there is no cost of network/storage for them, making the price not reasonable.

Also, it is not clear what is available in the free and what is available in the premium plan.

Basically there is better alternatives like rclone for free and if you dont want to use the cli ricedrive.

I have used odrive for about 3+ years... This review is going to look like a shill.

This review is only going to be in relation to using backblaze B2 as the endpoint storage container.

I was seeking to move away from large offerings like dropbox for privacy reasons. Looking around I found backblaze as a cheap and seemingly reliable choice. The only thing that was left is that I was seeking a desktop sync like the one offered by dropbox that made things nice and easy.

Here comes odrive. I by no means use all the features that odrive offers but for a simple list of options and reliability odrive has been perfect. It's not a victim of feature creep like other offerings like mountainduck but also provides a ton of options for various end points not just B2. I have not been able to find fault in their software but again I'm not trying to do anything too fancy.

For the price I feel like I am still getting far more than my monies worth when looking at the whole package. With both B2 price and odrive my price per year is still significantly lower than all prepackaged offerings that comes with desktop syncs.

The downside.

• The website feel dated, navigating the site seems like it can really use some TLC. It appears to be a very small or independent developing group that works on the software.
• All issues notes, any data that is updated seems to only be updated on a forum. The forum itself is horrendous when used in this manner and should be better organized to at least split it up into sections. but I have found no way to easily navigate these areas.

Little worrisome that their blog hasn't been updated since 2016 and some of their Twitter reviews seem to have broken profile pics.
