Perchi is a cozy voice-chat app for small groups — friends, co-op crews, study buddies, long-distance partners. You open a room, send the link, and people drift in and out. There is no calendar invite, no server to administer, and no pressure to “be on camera.”
Most crews get stuck between Discord and Zoom. Discord is great for communities and channels. Zoom is great for meetings. Neither is a living-room hang: six people who just want to be around each other while they cook, game, or study.
Perchi is that third option. A room stays there when nobody is in it, like leaving a door unlocked. Guests can join from a browser with no account and no download. Sign in if you want rooms that persist, friends, and the extra tools.
Voice is the floor. In the same room you can turn on video, share a screen, chat, sketch on a board, keep shared notes, or watch a video together. Use what you need; leave the rest off.
It is not a broadcast platform and not a replacement for a 400-person Discord. If your people need roles, bots, and a hundred channels, stay on Discord. If you need a start time and a recording, stay on Zoom. If you need a place that feels like walking into a friend’s apartment, that’s Perchi.
