it's my favorite text editor one of the best on the market can connect to a database and connect throw sftp or ftp to the server. I find it useful. But isn't free and it's pretty expensive for what it is.

AKA: are you using a computer from 2002 with 1 GB ram ? or a 2014 i7 cpu with 8GB ram and 5 security tools running together... or maybe a 2016 i7 cpu, 24GB ram, and a primed/optimized system.

Or maybe you're using a netbook ? ...

Clever code completion analyses existing code to suggest new code. Color coding is powerful on a per-language basis. I use a very custom theme where colors ranges are limited to language; PHP is green, JS is purple and so on, so I can instantly see which language I am dealing with. Most standard themes look like partially digested M&M vomited out. PHP storm is the best at achieving that goal. Very clever at detecting embedded SQL too. Grammar and code-style checking is extensive, useful and configurable. Error checking is excellent which saves on testing time. Definitely the best PHP/JS/SQL IDE I have ever used.

Never been more satisfied with an IDE (same goes for all JetBrains products).

Really great integration with toolings (especially webpack, aliases, etc...)

It has so many features that now i can't change it to anything. so good for it!! and well it makes me more productive

Nice program but only for one reason I can't use it: can not save a SINGLE modified file. "Save AS" and "Save All" are the only option?!?
