Comments and Reviews
I am writing this review on March 17, 2026. Since Purrse.app is not a regular app you download from app stores but use as a browser app, there's no place to leave reviews other than comparison websites like here. I don't recommend this app to people in Canada. Research if GoCardLess can connect to your bank in your country before you buy your license. I bought my premium lifetime license back in August, 2024. Bu, unfortunately, in couple of months the bank synchronization feature broke. I periodically check the app to see if it's remedied but it still doesn't work for people with Canadian banks (or specifically Scotiabank) for quite a while now. Back when it worked, it supported Plaid and GoCardLess to pull bank transactions but Plaid was removed later. And I could only connect to my bank account with Plaid. I reached out to the developer to inform them about the issue via e-mail in February, 2025. They were super quick to respond but couldn't provide any resolution. So, still, I cannot use that premium feature and manage my expenses which is more than half of the functionality of a personal finance management app. It works fine for splitting expenses among number of people etc. And it seems like the developer is still actively developing it. But at this point, some features are not available for some people, even if you paid for the app.
