If it were possible to give this app 0 stars, I would do it. It is expensive, and it seems that Intuit is most concerned with removing functionality that used to be included, with the premise that it will be added back later for additional cost. Much of this functionality disappears forever, however, and it's a real shame that no one has shaken the cage of this 800 lb gorilla.
I have a client who has lost considerable time and money trying to keep using QuickBooks, from switching to their online client, to now considering switching back to their offline software, but the annual charges either way are becoming very burdensome.
Pricy for small one/two person businesses. Good integrations, API which allows me to grab data for use in Claude Cowork in a hands-off automated way. My accountant can access my data so I don't have to send them anything. If there was a less expensive tier for 1 person + 1 accountant type business I'd give 5 stars.
I use this for a business; I don't find it very easy to catch onto; need an online course just to use it.
as title suggest, quickbooks has more 3rd party plugins and extension support than any other accounting software in its category
I will agree that it has good support for extensions, just wish it were more user friendly out of the box.
