The Free Version gives you 3 options under Edit with OCR button: 1 redirect to AbbeyFineReader -requires Abbey to be installed 2 a Tesseract version 3 a SimpleOCR version Not only does the Tesseract and SimpleOCR version underperform other programs of its type in completeness and accuracy, but you also struggle to get the results in various ways including that it sends the output file elsewhere than the viewer.
