Speechify

Speechify is a software application designed to facilitate the process of reading by converting text into speech. The software enables users to transform various forms of text, such as books, articles, and PDFs, into audiobooks. This is accomplished by either taking a picture of the book or sending the article to the app.

The software offers a range of features including the ability to adjust the speed of the speech from 1.5x to 4x the normal reading speed, which allows users to complete their reading tasks more rapidly. Furthermore, the converted text can be listened to regardless of the user's location or activity.

Speechify also offers a Pro Subscription which is billed annually. The subscription is charged upon confirmation of purchase and it auto-renews unless it is deactivated at least 24-hours before the end of the current billing period. The renewal charge is automatically applied to the user's iTunes account at the same price as the initial purchase, within 24-hours prior to the end of the current billing period. Users have the ability to manage their subscription and/or deactivate the auto-renewal feature by visiting their iTunes Account Settings after the purchase.
