The list of torrenting possibilities of Tixati is mind-boggling. Theoretically, it can do anything anybody would ever want from such a program. For example, it has three (yes, three!) different file pre-allocation algorithms. And the interface is pretty neatly organized, being that feature-packed. However, the program fails at some very basic tasks, like re-hashing an updated torrent of several gigabytes in size (the infamous “file too large” error which has been around for YEARS), or moving the downloaded files to another folder without affecting the objects not mentioned in the torrent. Also, good luck figuring out how to make it put the computer to sleep after everything is downloaded (the scheduler is SO convoluted). Every week or so a nag screen pops up and begs for a donation, and I could not find a way to disable it even after donating. There is no technical support — at least if you don’t donate. Official forums do exist, but the developer does not participate in conversations at all, so the users are stuck with each other’s experience. I’ve used Tixati extensively for about a year, but it is time to move on.

It's a great torrenting program, I've been using it for years and it never disappointed. Unfortunately the developers succumbed to the ugly flat design trend after version 3.19, and it made the GUI look really bad even on old OS, many people at the forums were also asking to bring the scrollbar arrows back. I still give it 5 stars, but I don't like the interface in the new versions.

This app is no good. As soon as i opened it and loaded my files. Nothing happened. Stick with Qbit. It's much better and easier to use. And actually works. Unlike this which does not.

I first tried it years ago, but my impression was that it was some geeky-hackers' toy. Too many options, weird interface, etc. Later I had to ditch Utorrent and went back to Tixati. I grew smarter by that time and could master it. I still use it now. it must be the best in functionality, resource consumption, statistics, etc. They run some other project on P2P, which embraces both the traffic and search functions.

Packed with nice features like the scheduler, has flexible interface and very eye-friendly color scheme out of the box. Works great, my only complaint is the nagging pop-ups asking for donation now and then. Because of this, don't use Tixati when playing fullscreen games or something.

Also the official community is very sensible and responsive to the issues.
