Upvoted a comment on ONLYOFFICEAn excellent app, I always had to open my .docs, .pptx etc in Google Docs or Google Slides but for that I had to go to the browser, visit the site, upload the local file. I do not like LibreOffice UI and the native mac apps that are Pages and Spreadsheets. So this app which is free to use and feels lighter than Microsoft suite is the perfect app for me.

A long and slow fall with rising prices. :-( Yes, the Desktop Application is still free and still worse than LibreOffice or any other alternatice. Everything else, like a simple selfhosted instance for home usage...149$.
OnlyOffice heavily relies on opensource and yet they dont have and usefoll open source version of their stuff left.
Hands off. Let's go with any competitor.
