What is Transcriboar?

Transcriboar is a free app that takes the same reliable, high quality technology already on your Android phone (as developed by Google) called "SpeechRecognizer". Since it uses the software already on your phone, it doesn't need to connect to the internet* or use costly AI subscription services. Transcriboar uses this to translate your voice to text. From there, I then extended that functionality, rather than reinventing the wheel.

So - there are lots of enhancements. These transcripts can be saved, renamed, edited, printed and/or saved. Or even distributed via e-mail or other media. It does all this without connecting to the internet* or using costly AI.

Perfect for getting down shopping lists. Authors and engineers who want to jot down that idea. And anyone who enjoys dictation on the go.
