What is Walyro?

Walyro is a live wallpaper app for Mac that runs on your own videos. Drop in an MP4 or MOV clip and it plays as your desktop background, up to 4K, with a different one on each display. Build playlists that rotate on their own and control everything from the menu bar or the Now Playing sidebar. A few built-in videos are there if you want something running in one click.

It's a native Swift and SwiftUI app, so it stays light: playback pauses when an app goes fullscreen and eases off on battery or Low Power Mode. Your library never leaves the Mac, with no cloud, no account.

Walyro is free to download. No subscription.
