It's not perfect by any means. But in 2024, it's not an echo chamber. You can't say that about most platforms these days. Most are either censor anything they disagree with or are far-right. X has a good mix.
It's actually kind of funny.
If you look through the reviews here, pre-X (Elon Musk), everyone was hating on Twitter for censoring content and shadowbanning people for posting ideas that the Twitter overlords disagreed with.
Now everyone seems to be hating on X for NOT censoring...

It has become a social network with a very bad reputation. It only has N@zis, incels and right-wing extremists. The platform has no more moderation and criminals are free to post child p@rn@graphy, harass people and commit fraud. I do not recommend it. Uninstalling it.

The new owner is not shy about putting his thumb on the scale. The algorithm aligns with his ideology and preferences. Twitter was already in decline before he bought it, but X is now little more than a (geo-)political instrument, honed to amplify mis- and disinformation. An EU ban of X can't come soon enough...

Any of the other options for OSes other than GrapheneOS would be a downgrade to security and privacy.
One of the goals of DivestOS was to provide some security patches to older devices and additional mitigations for exploitable devices and Android versions. This harm reduction would be reversed by choosing LineageOS, CalyxOS, or /e/OS.
GrapheneOS is the only option there that would provide any (and substantial) hardening and privacy improvements.
