Pros: -Free! -Supports video (I uploaded a 90 second, spoken-word MP4 as a test) -Minimalist, clean, basic UI -Transcription accuracy is quite good, and separates paragraphs and pauses really well. -No cloud processing, audio doesn't leave your device

Cons: -Slow. -Wish I had it on Windows or Linux.

Overall, a wonderful free piece of software!

The transcription is powered by OpenAI's Whisper running locally on your device. The audio never leaves your device.

You can export the transcription as subtitles too.
