TrueScribe is a desktop transcription studio for Windows and Linux. It transcribes audio and video locally with Whisper, identifies speakers with diarization, and keeps a searchable local history. Its timestamped editor combines transcript correction with synchronized waveform playback. TrueScribe can translate transcripts locally and export TXT, Markdown, DOCX, PDF, SRT, WebVTT, JSON and CSV. AI Research can run with a local model or an optional cloud provider configured by the user. Models are downloaded on first use; local workflows then work offline.
