The Ultimate Productivity Sandbox (A Lifesaver for Students & GTD Enthusiasts)

Comments and Reviews
I stumbled across this GEM of brilliant productivity software one day on Reddit. I've tried just about every app out there and am a veteran Omnifocus user. It was recommended highly, so I figured I'd check it out.
Marvin is the app that I'd long been searching for! I knew that the app I wanted didn't exist, and it didn't until recently. I was moderately content with Omnifocus, knowing I wanted an app to do much more and manage every aspect of productivity simultaneously. I checked periodically for new software developments. Nothing. Just two months ago in my productivity software search, I didn't find anything better. Other apps didn't work well on my Android phone.
Marvin does it all! I'm more amazed by what I can do now with Marvin than when I chose Omnifocus as my first GTD app. I didn't think I could be amazed, since I'd seen it all. Just more apps which were glorified checklists, and highly overpriced for what they offered. I took less than an hour to get oriented fully in Marvin, and I realize now that the possibilities are endless. Everything is modular. You can customize it to be as minimalist or power-user-ready as you'd like. I had thoughts of what my ideal GTD app would be, and Marvin addresses what was missing in other apps. It was clearly designed thoughtfully. It was designed by someone who actually considered how to IMPLEMENT it in daily life. It wasn't just a new checklist. Go meet Marvin! As a veteran GTD productivity enthusiast, I can't recommend it more highly. Marvin has exceeded my expectations and shown me just how modular and comprehensive software can be. Marvin is your one-stop shop for pomodoro timers, priority management, to-do lists, everything.
Absolutely brilliant. -A very busy grad student

The Ultimate Productivity Sandbox (A Lifesaver for Students & GTD Enthusiasts)
I have spent months searching for the perfect GTD (Getting Things Done) application to manage my postgraduate studies, research, and daily work shifts. I tried Todoist, Trello, Notion, and Nirvana, but none of them hit the sweet spot—until I found Amazing Marvin. Pros: Workflows & Strategies: This is not just a to-do list; it's a productivity lab. With one click, I applied the "Nirvana HQ / GTD" workflow, and the app instantly transformed into a strict GTD engine with Inbox, Next Actions, and Contexts perfectly set up. Flexibility: It adapts to your brain, not the other way around. You can turn features on/off like Lego blocks. Customer Support: Mark, Christina, and Branko are incredible. They genuinely care about their users, especially students, and their support is empathetic and lightning-fast. Cons: Because it is so feature-rich, the initial setup on the desktop can look slightly overwhelming. But once you apply a pre-made "Workflow Template," everything becomes magical and simple, especially on the mobile app. Overall: If you are a student, researcher, or GTD practitioner looking for an app that combines the strictness of David Allen's method with the flexibility of Notion (without the setup fatigue), Amazing Marvin is the absolute king. 10/10 highly recommended
I am a productivity junkie.
I lived most of my life with undiagnosed ADHD. The reason it remained undiagnosed is because I was always, always able to build systems to support the way my brain works. I used to swear by Todoist, I've used Tick Tick, Monday, Asana, Clickup, I've used The Productivity Planner, I've designed my own journals and had them mailed, I've built systems inside of dotted notebooks, I've augmented to-do apps with note taking apps, calendars, tablets, folding phones, dual screened phones - if it exists to streamline, organize, or manage information and it has more than 1000 users there's a good chance I've used it, heard about it, or read a description and immediately dismissed it.
When I opened Marvin, it made me angry. I hated it. I browsed around for a bit and immediately closed it. Everything about it was all wrong - but I knew that my mentor, my own personal career coach and productivity guru, swore by it. So, I opened it up again. For approximately 3 hours I thumbed through the digital pages of the LEGO building blocks that make up the apps features - strategies, they're called - and I realized that I was witnessing something special.
The Amazing Marvin is a god, a king, the GOAT among productivity apps. It gives access to all of the most effective, scientifically backed methodologies - strategies, if you will - for keeping yourself and your life organized and effective. Because the app is so modular, these can be shuffled, re-shuffled, and customized at will. If there's a feature in another app or an approach to either visualizing or sorting through your data, nine times out of ten you'll find an analogue here. If not that, you'll likely find something that, with a bit of finagling, can serve exactly the same function. Not to mention that there's a high likelihood that you'll be introduced to an idea that you haven't considered yet and which could revolutionize the way you do things.
Marvin is, because of this, one of the only digital tools that I would compare to pen and paper. You have a blank canvas that you can shape to your will. It is not ready out of the box, but that is in part because it doesn't impose any particular philosophies of organization onto you. That lack of direction was initially very frustrating as the few default settings available were not to my taste.
3 hours later and I had formed something new, something more flexible and more useful than anything else I had ever encountered. And thus, Marvin has become an invaluable tool in my professional life. I give it my highest recommendation.
I've tried a lot of different task management apps and Marvin is the only one I've gotten to work for me. It comes down to being able to create a workflow that works for me. I don't have to do a lot of workarounds to do what I want to do because Marvin is not only customizable, but very flexible.
Amazing Marvin has been my go-to app for the past four years and it has helped me so much. If you're looking for the perfect app to match your lifestyle, then look no further as Amazing Marvin gives you full customisation and control over your experience. The usability, customer support and device support makes this the best task management app available.
I have tried many different productivity and task management services but nothing comes close to the experience and support that I get from Amazing Marvin.
You won't regret giving it a try.
Amazing Marvin is an excellent app that allows you to manage your projects and habits in a fully customizable way. The tool offers many “strategies” that you can choose to enable or disable, allowing you to create a workflow tailored to your needs and preferences. It also helps you fight procrastination and is well suited for people with ADHD. I’ve tried many apps to get organized, but for me, this one is by far the best.
