Apiboo is a desktop workspace for developers who are tired of running five apps to ship one API. It is a native app for macOS, Windows and Linux, built on Tauri, and everything in the free plan runs locally with no account required.
API client — REST and GraphQL requests, collections, environments, variables, OAuth 2.0, pre-request and test scripts, and a Cloud Mock server. Imports Postman, Insomnia, Bruno and OpenAPI collections so switching does not mean rebuilding.
Database manager — connect to PostgreSQL, MySQL and SQLite, browse tables, run and save queries, and keep query scripts next to the API that uses them.
SSH and SFTP — a terminal and file browser for the servers your API runs on, with credentials kept in the vault rather than in config files.
Docs and boards — a rich-text documentation editor with subpages and checklists, and kanban boards for the work around the API, in the same workspace as the requests.
Team chat — channels and direct messages with real-time collaborative editing, for teams on the Team plan.
Vault — an end-to-end encrypted store for API keys, tokens, database and SSH credentials. Per-user encryption, unlocked per session, with passkey support. Secrets are never sent to Apiboo's servers in readable form.
AI assistant — bring your own Anthropic, OpenAI or Gemini key; the key stays in the local vault and requests go directly to the provider, never through Apiboo.
Pricing: Free (local only, no account), Pro €10/month (cloud sync across devices), Team €20/user/month (shared workspaces, chat, organisation features). Apiboo is not open source.
