Comment summary: ERPNext is highly praised for being user-friendly, feature-rich, and customizable. It supports a wide range of functions like Sales, HR, and Accounting, making it suitable for startups and small organizations. Users highlight excellent customer support and the vibrant community. Some negative feedback includes issues with the REST API and documentation. Despite these, ERPNext's open-source nature and cost-effectiveness are significant advantages over competitors.

Easily the most user-friendly ERP suite I have ever used. ERP software is complex by definition, but ERPNext includes a universal search bar at the top of every page, which lets me locate anything I'm looking for in a few seconds.

The application is fast, even when run on an inexpensive server. I don't use most of the modules, but the Accounting module by itself is already the best free and open source accounting software I've found, and makes ERPNext worth using.

Installation on your own server is not easy, so if you're looking for a managed solution, the developer (Frappe) offers a service called Frappe Cloud that provides a managed instance of ERPNext starting at $10/month, which is a fraction of what most managed ERP solutions cost.

The REST API is incredibly buggy, the code is a mess, it's unintuitive, the documentation is lacking, the translation is bad and it is lacking lots of features. Regretting it.

We, tüit GmbH have now been using ERPNext since 2016 and would not want to carry on in our field without it. Let good software help you hone your business processes to concentrate on your trade instead of wasting time on "managing stuff". I recommend ERPNext to anyone who want's to take their business forward.
