Fob

Fob is a 2FA authenticator built for people whose account list outgrew a flat scroll. Every account can carry multiple tags (work, finance, crypto, a side project) and you filter by any combination of them, not one rigid folder. No other mainstream authenticator does multi-tag filtering.

Switching in is guided: wizards move you off Authy, Google Authenticator, or Aegis without dropping a code, and set up your recovery key before you add your first account, so a lost phone is a short errand instead of a bad week.

Your vault is encrypted on-device (AES-256-GCM, key derived from your password with Argon2id) and backed up zero-knowledge: the server only ever holds a blob it cannot read. Fob is closed source, so trust rests on what you can verify rather than source you can read. The full encryption architecture is published at fob.codes/security, and you can export every account any time in a format any RFC 6238 authenticator reads, so you are never locked in.
