What is Klee?

Klee is a macOS AI agent that operates on your Mac without any need for cloud-based services, account, or subscription. It uses MLX to run large language models on Apple Silicon, keeping your conversations on your device. Klee features include data security, ease of use, local inference, no account or API key requirement, one-click model download, native tool calling, vision support, and web search via Jina AI. It also offers streaming responses, inline thinking, and native Swift integrations through platform modules. Klee is a lightweight ~75MB native SwiftUI app that doesn't require Electron, Docker, or background services.
