Although Malwarebytes premium finds some legitimate issues while browsing web that other products have not alerted, the real time protection significantly impacts performance despite exclusion rules. In other words, you absolutely do not want to run this product while gaming or developing (my code changes take twice as long to refresh with this product enabled so I have to turn it off every morning).
The free version must be installed, there is no portable version. The nag to "update" (not upgrade to PRO) is very irritating and in spite of settings I still get nagged. Ridiculous considering free version does not auto-scan, you have to pay for that What MBAM really mean is "upgrade" Goodbye MBAM, this is the end of a v.long relationship, I don't like being nagged

Settings are in depth. Although it's a bit strange as to why you have to search for the advanced settings under Settings\Security(scroll to the very bottom)\Advanced Settings. I wished them easier to access.
Also, the landing / start page should be a dashboard that displays why I need it to, thus customizing or adding things I want to access directly.
It is one of my top choices to make the Windows Security shut the hell up and stop the live detection from reactivating.
I'm done with Malwarebytes; I will never use it again. When I plugged in my USB stick, it became write-protected. 😡I don't know why, but Malwarebytes makes my USB stick write-protected, and I don't know how to fix it. I tried every single method, but none of them works. I don't recommend this anti-virus program
The user interface kills it. Annoying to set exclusions for power user tools. Also I configured scans how I want, but it updated or something and wiped all that out. I'm done with this company.
I always run Free versions of Malwarebytes, Adwcleaner , Diag and RogueKiller in that order and always have clean machines.
